The Liberty lacrosse team will play a pair of games this weekend, starting with a Senior Day showdown against Kennesaw State on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Flames (6-6, 0-0 ASUN) will take on the KSU Owls (5-6, 0-1 ASUN) in their ASUN opener at 1 p.m. at the Liberty Lacrosse Field. Friday is Senior Day for Liberty. Prior to the game, the program will honor its graduating class – Carly White, Sarah Steenson, Grace Fletcher, Claire Bratchie and Maddi Little – with a special ceremony.
On Sunday, Liberty will compete in a road contest at former Big South rival High Point (5-6). Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Vert Stadium in High Point, N.C.
Liberty dropped its most recent game, an 18-6 result at No. 8 Duke on Tuesday evening. KSU has lost back-to-back games, falling to Mercer (20-19 on April 6) and Furman (16-14 last Friday). High Point brings a four-game winning streak into the weekend. The Panthers defeated Longwood 19-7 on Wednesday in their most recent contest.
Attendance
Due to COVID-19 protocols, attendance at the Liberty Lacrosse Field will be restricted to only home and visiting team player guests via a pass list. On game day, the pass list table will open 60 minutes before game time. There will be a tent at the center of the Campus East Fields where team guests can check in.
Masks and social distancing of six feet or more from anyone not in a family or party are required at all times. More game day information and policies can be found at LibertyFlames.com/gameday.
