
Liberty Women's Tennis Features No. 13 Mid-Major Recruiting Class

The Liberty women's tennis team's incoming recruiting class is listed as the No. 13-ranked class among mid-major teams, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
This marks the best ranking of an incoming class in program history. The Lady Flames' recruiting class includes five-star recruit Esther Lovato (Austin, Texas), five-star recruit and Cal State Fullerton transfer Caisey Lee Emery (Ventura, Calif.), Micaela Ode Mitre (Lima, Peru), Eloise Saraty (West Molesey, Great Britain) and Tiffany Nguyen (Vietnam).
Pepperdine boasts the top mid-major recruiting class, followed by the Old Dominion (No. 2), SMU (No. 3), FIU (No. 4) and San Diego (No. 5). Liberty ranks just behind Navy (No. 12) and ahead of Cal Poly (No. 14) and Ball State (No. 15). TennisRecruiting.net lists the top-25 mid-major classes.
Liberty Women's Tennis Head Coach Jeff Maren and Liberty will be entering their second year as ASUN Conference members in 2019-20. The Lady Flames earned a share of the ASUN regular-season crown and the No. 1 seed for the ASUN Women's Tennis Championship this past spring.
