1, Liberty enters Monday's contest with 21-10 overall record and a 7-2 mark in Big South
Conference play.
2. The Flames have won seven straight games, tying a season high. Liberty's seven-game win streak is currently the third longest in the nation.
3. Liberty swept a three-game Big South Conference series at Charleston Southern, this past weekend. With the road sweep, Liberty is 8-4 in road contests this season. The Flames are in the midst of a five-game road swing which ends at North Carolina, Wednesday.
4. Liberty and Old Dominion will meet for the second time in less than a week. The Flames
defeated the Monarchs, 9-7, at Liberty Baseball Stadium, last Tuesday.
5. Liberty has hit at least one home run in each of its last eight games. During the span, the Flames have hit 11 home runs.

• OF/RHP Ashton Perritt had two or more hits in each of Liberty's three contests at Charleston Southern, this past weekend.
• Perritt posted his first four-hit game of the season in the Flames' 10-0 win at Charleston Southern, Friday. Perritt tied a career-high with five RBI. The outfielder hit his fourth home run of the season and tripled in the contest.
• Perritt also earned his first save of the year with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in Liberty's 2-1 win, Sunday.
• C Becker Sankey hit his team-leading ninth home run of the year in Liberty's 2-1 win over Charleston Southern, Sunday.
• Sankey belt a home run in four-straight games from March 27-March 31. This past Tuesday, he collected three hits, including a three-run home run, in a 9-7 win over Old Dominion.
• 1B Alex Close was named the Big South Player of the Week for March 23-29. Close hit .500 during the week with nine RBI, seven runs scored and two home runs during the week.
• Close earned his second save of the week with 1 1/3 scoreless innings in a 3-1 win at Charleston Southern, Thursday.
• Close posted his fourth three-hit game of the season, scoring twice, in Liberty's 9-7 win over Old Dominion, last Tuesday. He also recorded his second save of the year in the contest.
• Close tied a career-high with six RBI in Liberty's 9-5 win over Presbyterian, March 27. The first baseman belted a two-run home run and a grand slam in the win. He scored three times.
• DH/1B Andrew Yacyk collected three hits, a double and three RBI in Flames' win, Saturday.
• OF Will Shepherd hit his second home run of the season, a two-run shot, in a 3-1 win over Charleston Southern, Friday.
• Shepherd had two hit and scored two runs in win over Old Dominion, this past Tuesday.
• LHP Shawn Clowers moved to 7-1 on the season, Thursday. In his second start of the year, Clowers pitched 7 2/3 innings, the longest outing of his career, in the 3-1 win.
• RHP Caleb Evans pitched 1 2/3 innings of relief in Liberty's win over Old Dominion, Tuesday. Evans is tied with Clowers with a team-high 11 appearances.
• Parker Bean pick up the win in his first relief appearance of his career, last Tuesday. Bean allowed one run on four hits over three innings in Liberty's win over Old Dominion.
