• Liberty opened its eighth season at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium with a 4-2 victory over Radford on Tuesday. With the victory, the Flames are now 147-60 (.710) at the facility since it opened in 2013.
• Liberty and Seton Hall will be meeting for the first time during the regular season, this weekend. The teams only meeting on the diamond came in 2000 at the NCAA Columbia, S.C. Regional, where the Flames defeated the Pirates 10-2, becoming the first team in Liberty athletics history to win an NCAA Division I Tournament game.
• Liberty, the defending ASUN Champion, was voted by the league's head coaches to once again win the conference in 2020. Last season, the Flames won the title in their first year in the conference and tied the school record for most wins in a single season with a 43-21 mark.

- C - Transfer Brady Gulakowski has handled the catching duties for the Flames through the first four games of the season. Gulakowski leads the Flames with a .353 batting average and has posted two multi-hit games.
- 1B - Sophomore Drew Baughman has started the last three games at first base.
- SS - Cam Locklear has started at shortstop for the Flames since joining the roster in 2017. He enters the year with a .952 career fielding percentage and comes off a 2019 campaign where he drove in a single-season high 42 RBI and recorded 18 multi-hit games.
- 3B - Ben Highfill has started every game at third this season. The senior has hit .308 and leads the Flames with five RBI. He also has hit Liberty's lone home run of the season at Clemson, last Sunday.
- LF - 2019 ASUN All-Freshman team member Gray Betts has started every game in left field in 2020. On Tuesday, Betts threw out a runner trying to score in Liberty's 4-2 victory over Radford.
- CF - Jaylen Guy has reached base in all four Liberty games, this season.
- RF - Brandon Rohrer has become a fixture in the Liberty outfield, seeing action in 118 games. Last season, he hit .311 with 30 runs scored and 42 RBI.
- DH - Transfer Garrett Wilkinson has served as the Flames designated hitter in all four Liberty contests. Wilkinson leads the Flames with a .556 on base percentage and has walked seven times.
