• Close collected two hits, a double and scored a run in 3-2 win over Richmond, Wednesday. He also recorded his team-leading fifth save by striking out the only batter he faced in the ninth.

• LHP Jared Lyons was named the Big South Pitcher of the Week for the third time, April 27.
