• DH Andrew Yacyk had two hits, a triple and a run scored at Virginia, Wednesday. Yacyk has hit .450 over the past five games to raise his average to .302 entering the weekend.
• Yacyk collected three hits, a double, a RBI and two runs scored in the Flames' win over Campbell, April 12. He has four three-hit games and is second on the Flames behind 1B Alex Close with 14 multi-hit games.
• 1B Alex Close hit his third home run of the season in Liberty's win over Campbell on April 12. The senior currently ranks fifth all-time with 29 career home runs.
• As a pitcher, Close recorded his fourth save of the year, last Friday at Longwood.
• Close is among the Big South Conference leaders in hits, runs scored, RBI, doubles, total bases and on base percentage.
• SS Dalton Britt posted his fourth three-hit game of the year in game one of a doubleheader at Longwood, Saturday. Britt also drove in two runs and scored two runs in the contest.
• LHP Victor Cole pitched into the eighth inning for the second straight outing, last Friday at Longwood. Cole recorded his fourth straight win in as many starts.
• Currently, Cole is third in ERA (2.11), sixth in innings pitched (64.0) and second in opponent batting (.204) in the Big South Conference.
• LHP Jared Lyons pitched gave up three runs over seven innings at Longwood to run his record to 6-1, Saturday.
