
Liberty Rallies to Run-Rule Radford 14-6

Liberty overcame a 6-0 deficit, scoring 14 unanswered runs to defeat Radford 14-6 in five innings, Sunday at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium.
The Lady Flames (8-9) pushed their winning streak to seven straight games heading into the finale of the Liberty Softball Invitational. The Highlanders fall to 7-10 including 1-2 so far this weekend.

Notable Numbers
- Liberty and Radford both recorded nine hits, with the Highlanders committing three errors to two errors for the Lady Flames. Radford left eight runners on base, while Liberty stranded three.
- Karlie Keeney (5-5) earned her fifth win of the season, allowing one unearned run on two hits, walking one and striking out two in 2 2/3 innings of relief.

Turning Point
- Radford led 6-0 after a four-run third inning. However, Hudson’s three-run homer sparked the Lady Flames’ seven-run rally in the home half.
- The Lady Flames maintained command, adding three runs in the fourth to take a 10-6 lead. With two runners on in the fifth, Radford intentionally walked Hudson, but Roupe hit a walk-off grand slam to clear the bases and end the game.
