Throughout the 2014-15 men's and women's basketball seasons, LFSN Game On reporter Alan York will take a regular look inside the Liberty men's and women's basketball programs in a segment called the "York Report."
During this week's segment, York tells the story of redshirt senior guard Karly Buer, who has played well in her first season as a Lady Flame after transferring from Missouri State.
Buer, who leads the 5-2 Lady Flames in scoring (14.9 ppg), was voted MVP of the GSU Thanksgiving Tournament and Big South Player of the Week on Dec. 1. She is coming off of a 26-point outburst during Liberty's Big South-opening win at Radford on Saturday.
Buer and the Lady Flames will play their only home game this month on Saturday, when Big South foe Gardner-Webb visits Lynchburg. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. inside the Vines Center.
