Teeing It Up with Isaac Simmons
4/13/2020 12:00:00 AM | Men's Golf
The Flames may not be on the course right now vying for a second-straight appearance at the NCAA National Championship, but that does not keep Liberty Athletics from allowing Flames Nation to further their knowledge of the Liberty men's golf program.
Over the next several weeks, LibertyFlames.com and the men's golf social media accounts will use the time off the course to give Flames Nation more insight into Liberty's talented golf roster.
Each Monday, LibertyFlames.com will kick off the week-long series by getting to know a new member of the Liberty golf program with the questionnaire listed below.
Additionally, the selected golfer will have a Tuesday Takeover on the Liberty men's golf Instagram account, giving Flames Nation insight into how they are staying in shape for the 2020-21 season.
The series will wrap up each Friday when the selected golfer has a #FavoriteFriday moment on the Liberty men's golf Instagram account where they will talk about what personally makes being a Liberty Flames student-athlete so special to them.
Today, we kick off this new series by featuring Isaac Simmons, a redshirt freshman from Huddleston, Va. Simmons finished the 2019-20 season with a 73.93 season stroke average in five events, which included three rounds of par or better during his first collegiate season on the course.
