Stadium Turf Installation Continues

Despite some recent delays due to winter weather in the area, installation of Liberty's new FieldTurf at Williams Stadium continues to progress and remain on schedule for completion prior to the start of spring practice.
Over 60 percent of the field's playing surface has been installed, beginning with the end zone on the north side of the stadium and continuing up to the 40-yard line of the south end of the facility. The remaining 40 yards of turf, plus the south end zone will be installed over the next several days, weather permitting.
Once installation of the full playing surface has been completed, installation of the new FieldTurf on the sidelines and surrounding areas will commence, which will finalize the project prior to the opening of Liberty's first spring practice session on March 26.
