A pair of top-20 teams in No. 20 Liberty and No. 7 Virginia will play on Sunday afternoon at the Liberty Field Hockey Field.
The non-conference matchup between the Lady Flames (3-2) and Cavaliers (3-2) is set for 1 p.m.
Liberty is coming off a 2-1 loss to Longwood in its home opener on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Virginia's most recent result was a 2-1 home loss to Old Dominion, last Sunday in Charlottesville, Va.

Series History
Liberty is in search of its first-ever win over Virginia. The Cavaliers own a 4-0 edge in the all-time series. The two teams last met on Sept. 12, 2016, a 2-1 victory for Virginia on its home turf.
Lady Flames News and Notes
- As a team, the Lady Flames are among the top 10 in the nation in five statistical categories: scoring average (No. 5, 3.78), goals per game (No. 6, 3.80), points per game (No. 7, 10.40), scoring margin (No. 8, 2.19) and assists per game (No. 10, 2.80).
- Senior Agueda Moroni leads the nation with 10 goals in 2018 and is also first in the country in goals per game (2.00) and points per game (4.60).
- Liberty has earned 32 penalty corners on the season, compared to 25 for its opponents. The Lady Flames have six short corner goals, while their counterparts only have three.
- Lady Flames goalkeeper Allison Schaefer sports a 3-2 record, 1.77 goals-against average, a .733 save percentage and 22 saves in five contests. A two-time All-BIG EAST honoree, she is the program's all-time leader in career saves with 249.
- International players have accounted for 63.2 percent (12-of-19 goals) of the scoring for Liberty this season. Moroni (10 goals), sophomore Victoria O'Keeffe (one goal) and freshman Kemy Meidane (one goal) have each found the back of the cage.
