Liberty went up against Pitt to close out its Pennsylvania road trip and the Lady Flames hung with Pitt all throughout the match but dropped a 3-2 match to the Panthers. Liberty wraps up non-conference play with a 4-3-1 record.

Turning Point
Liberty took the early lead as Ivy Garner would scored her first collegiate goal in the 11th minute and Pitt was able to respond with three unanswered goals to take a 3-1 lead with 35 minutes left in the contest. The Lady Flames did their best to mount a comeback as fellow freshman, Allison Hansford, would score in the 65th minute but Liberty was unable to score the equalizer.
