
LFSN Game On Feature: Kieran Vincent

Following an award-winning rookie season, LFSN Game On spent some time with freshman Kieran Vincent talking about his journey from Zimbabwe to Liberty.
During his freshman season, Vincent was named the Big South Freshman of the Year and VaSID Rookie of the Year, while garnering a place on the All-Big South first team and VaSID all-state second team.
Vincent ranked third on Liberty's roster with a 72.15, marking the fifth-best scoring average in program history. The freshman opened his career in grand fashion, claiming medalist honors at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational with a program record 15-under par 201 (67-67-67).
Vincent helped Liberty finished the 2016-17 season ranked No. 49 in the final Golfstat national rankings, spending each week of the season in the top-50 national rankings. The Flames spotlighted the run with a No. 22 ranking on Oct. 22.
Following a second-place finish at the 2017 Big South Men's Golf Championship, the Flames earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Regional. Liberty was the No. 8 seed at the NCAA Austin Regional, which was contested at the University of Texas Golf Club (par 71, 7,355 yards) in Austin, Texas, May 15-17.
