Football Hosts Pro Day

Liberty Football held its annual Pro Day today, giving all graduating seniors the opportunity to work out for a variety of NFL teams. Representatives from the Browns, Dolphins, Giants, Panthers, Rams, Redskins, Steelers and Titans were all on hand, beginning with reviewing film during the morning.
The afternoon session gave each franchise its first look at the draft-eligible seniors, starting with measuring height and weight. From there, everyone moved down to the spacious 16,000-square foot Williams Football Operations Center weight room, where all participants measured their vertical jump.
After verticals were recorded, Pro Day moved over to the Tolsma Indoor Track Center to clock running times, before conducting lifting tests. At the conclusion of the day, scouts were able to request certain players for on-field workouts.
"Our Pro Day has generated a lot of outside interest," said associate head coach Pete Sundheim, who is in charge of Pro Day. "I hope our guys perform well for all the scouts who have joined us today."
The players who have garnered the most interest include Marshal Ausberry, Wynton Jackson, Eddie Pinigis, Vince Redd and Stephen Sene.
