
Men’s Tennis Sending Three to ITA All-American Championships

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's tennis team will be sending three Flames, Rodrigo Santigo Arraez, Siwanat Auytayakul and Carl Roothman, to compete at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. The tournament, beginning Saturday, is being held at The Michael D. Case Tennis Center at Tulsa and the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Okla.
The nine-day event begins on Saturday with pre-qualifying the first two days of the event.
All three Flames will be competing at the event for the first time in either singles or doubles. They were each invited to the singles pre-qualifying bracket. No Flames competed at the event last season.

Tournament Breakdown
- Liberty returns seven to the 2025-26 roster from last season, including all three participants at the ITA All-American Championships this weekend.
- It will be a near homecoming for Carl Roothman, who competed for Oklahoma State (Stillwater, Okla.) for two seasons before transferring to Liberty prior to the start of the 2024-25 season.
- All three Flames will begin the event in the pre-qualifying round that begins with 160 athletes. To advance to the qualifying bracket, each Flame would need to win three matches.
- The athletes are guaranteed to play in at least two matches over the weekend.
