EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon pulled away for a 13-1 win over Liberty on Saturday at Jane Sanders Stadium, sweeping the Eugene Super Regional to advance to the Women's College World Series for the first time since 2018.
The Ducks improve to 53-8 on the season, and will take on the winner of the Columbia Super Regional in the WCWS next Thursday. The Lady Flame (50-15) made their first-ever appearance in the Super Regional round after becoming the first team in the Super Regional era to knock out the No. 1 overall seed (Texas A&M) in Regionals, last week.
Oregon won game one last night, 3-2, in eight innings before earning the WCWS berth with today's victory.

Turning Point
• Liberty jumped on the board first, with Savannah Woodard's leadoff homer in the bottom of the first. Rachel Roupe followed with a single, but Lyndsey Grein then retired the next 19 batters before Alyssa Henault's seventh-inning base hit.
• The Ducks went ahead with a two-run second inning and led 6-1 entering the seventh, where they tacked on seven runs.
Notable Numbers
• Oregon outhit Liberty 14-3 for the game, with the Ducks leaving seven runners on base compared to two stranded by the Lady Flames.
• Grein (29-2) earned the win, allowing one run on three hits, walking one and fanning 10.
• Oregon's Paige Sinicki went 3-for-4 with a triple, homer, four RBI and two runs scored. Kaylynn Jones batted 4-for-4 with a double, one RBI and one run. Kai Luschar went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored, while Emma Cox (1-for-3) homered and drove in three.
• Oregon has won all three meetings with Liberty all-time in softball, with the first meeting being at last year's NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla.Â
• Liberty is 3-9 against Top 25 opponents this season, including 2-2 against nationally-ranked foes in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
• The Lady Flames are now 12-13 all-time in NCAA postseason games under current 12th-year Head Coach Dot Richardson and 12-17 overall in the postseason.
• Liberty is the seventh NCAA Super Regional participant in CUSA softball history and first since UAB in 2013.Â
• Rachel Roupe reached base in the last 20 games of her career, while Woodard finished her career one a 14-game reached base streak.
• Woodard led off a game with a homer five times this season, breaking the existing program single-season record for leadoff homers held by Jessica Moore (2006), Dawn Jeffs (2007) and Autumn Bishop (2021).
• Liberty set a program record for overall wins (50), making its first-ever Super Regional appearance. The Lady Flames appeared in the Top 25 in at least one poll 12 times this season and entered the postseason with an RPI of 26.
• The Lady Flames broke most of their existing single-season program statistical records this season.
