- Liberty is predicted for a runner-up finish in CUSA, while Frostburg State was voted sixth of 11 squads in the preseason Mountain East Conference (MEC) poll.Â

- Liberty is one of six CUSA teams facing a non-Division I opponent in its season opener this week.
- Liberty is 3-0 when facing Frostburg State head coach Jenna Eckleberry, including 1-0 during her time with the Bobcats and 2-0 when she coached at Shepherd.
- Claudia Acin and Elisabeth Aegisdottir both recorded their first collegiate points the last time Liberty and Frostburg State squared off (Nov. 6, 2023).
