DORAL, Fla. - Liberty posted a 219-209 win over FIU in a tightly-contested two-day meet which wrapped up on Saturday at Doral Aquatic Center.
The Lady Flames wrap up the fall dual-meet season with a 4-0 record, including 3-0 against American Conference opponents. Meanwhile, today was FIU's first dual meet of the season.

- So. Aly Bozzuto – 100 breaststroke (1:03.17)

- Fr. Gwyneth Frick – 200 backstroke (1:58.37)
- Fr. Riley Leach – 400 IM (4:21.95)
- 400 freestyle relay – 3:28.23 (Natalie Colarossi – 51.24; Sadie Huenefeld – 51.82; Faith Forsberg – 52.53; Kaycee Cannings – 52.64)
- For the meet, the Lady Flames won 14 out of the 23 events contested, including 11 individual swimming races, three-meter diving and two relays. The Panthers claimed victory in six individual races, one-meter diving and two relays.
- Aly Bozzuto earned three individual-event victories for the Lady Flames (50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke). Liberty got two wins from Natalie Colarossi (100 free, 200 free), Riley Leach (200 fly, 400 IM) and Gwyneth Frick (100 back, 200 back).
- Saturday's longest race was also the closest of the meet, as Liberty's Eden Troxell won the 1000 freestyle in 10:28.52 followed by teammate Emma Herrera in 10:28.57.
- FIU's Pauline Zeller edged Liberty's Kamryn Cannings in the 100 fly, 53.97 to 54.37.
- The Lady Flames went 1-2 in the 1000 freestyle (Troxell, Herrera) and 200 backstroke (Gwyneth Frick, Malia Francis), while the Panthers took each of the top three spots in the 50 backstroke and posted 1-2 finishes in the 100 individual medley.
- The Lady Flames evened the all-time series. FIU won the only previous meeting between these two teams, a 234-214 decision over the Lady Flames, Oct. 28-29, 2022 in Miami.
- Leach's 4:21.95 ranks eighth on Liberty's all-time Top 10 performers list in the 400 IM.
- Frick's 1:58.37 in the 200 backstroke today puts her ninth on the team's all-time Top 10 performers list in the event.
