
Flames Extend Winning Streak to Three

Coming off their first sweep of the season in the morning match, the Flames continued their winning ways in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Tuesday. Liberty picked up another solid win, defeating McMurry, 6-1, in the evening contest.
The Flames took all three matches in doubles action, capturing the doubles point for the third consecutive match. Jarda Trojan and Leandro Schujmann began the sweep for the Flames, defeating McMurry's Will Davis and Adam Ewing in No. 1 doubles, 8-5. The duo of Chad Simpson and Juan Reyes produced a similar result, winning No. 2 doubles, 8-5, as well. Sebastian Pena and Franco Valdez capped things off, taking No. 3 doubles, 8-2.
The Flames won five of the six singles matches. Simpson and Pena began singles action, each winning 6-0, 6-0, in No.1 and No. 2 singles. Trojan followed by winning over McMurry's Tony Williams, 6-2, 6-0, in the No. 3 singles. Trojan's doubles partner, Schujmann, also won in straight sets, winning, 6-1, 6-2. Reyes gave Liberty its sixth point, as he defeated McMurry's Brad Armour in No 6 singles, 6-2, 6-0.
With three-straight victories, the Flames will complete the Port St. Lucie tournament on Wednesday by squaring off against Northwood.
