Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
The family atmosphere between the coaches and people in office, the opportunity to grow with my faith while also playing at a high level, plus the beautiful sights of the mountains.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
Pray because it calms my nerves and helps me lock in on why I’m here and how much I love the game.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mother inspires me because she is a superhero and has always made things happen for my family. She is the strongest person I know, and has made tons of sacrifices to make sure me and my younger brother had everything we wanted!
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My first home run in little league, I had a fresh new baseball bat and on my first attempt with it and I sent the ball flying. Another is my first athletic scholarship, it gave me a different type of hope and relived a great level of stress off my shoulders!
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Steak & eggs! Best mix ever!
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I open Instagram first in the morning.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Being around friends and family enjoying the outdoors.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Odell Beckham Jr.
What is your favorite possession and why?
My bobble head of myself.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Sunrise by Morgan Wallen
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Switzerland or Aspen in Colorado, since growing up in Virginia I didn’t get to snowboard every year due to the weather. These are places where you can wake up and snowboard for however long you want and it’s always beautiful out there.
