The Liberty University Athletics Department is now providing its fans with new and exciting ways to follow the Flames and Lady Flames via social media outlets Facebook and Twitter.
Facebook is the leading social networking site and provides fans a chance to follow various Liberty programs through numerous applications. The site allows fans to follow the athletics department and its teams from wall posts, polls, video content, special offers and giveaways, while also giving fans a chance to discuss Flames or Lady Flames-related topics with each other.
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as "tweets"), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Twitter updates will provide more unique information and quicker information than LibertyFlames.com. It provides a better source of feedback and discussion. Followers can receive updates any way they choose: at Twitter.com, via cell phone, on Facebook or any other social networking site.
LibertyFlames.com also has its official YouTube site, also available to provide video content for all Liberty Flames’ fans.
