2008 (Sr.): Started all 12 games … nearly doubled his career tackle total, as he came into the season with 31 stops during his first three years at Liberty … ranked fourth on the team in tackles (28) and assisted stops (31) … was second on the squad with a career high in tackles for a loss (6.5 for 41 yards) and sacks (3.5 for 36 yards) … finished eight out of 12 games with four or more tackles, including six or more over the final four games … closed out the year with a career-best performance against No. 12 Elon, finishing the game with 10 stops … also finished the season with a career best in forced fumbles … opened the year with five tackles and a quarterback hurry against North Greenville … two solo stops, including an 11-yard sack, two forced fumbles and a quarterback hurry in Liberty’s 19-16 victory over Western Carolina … seven stops, including three solo and a shared seven-yard sack during Liberty’s road victory over Coastal Carolina … six tackles, including five solo and two tackles for a loss against Presbyterian … six stops against Gardner-Webb, including four solo and a seven-yard sack … helped the Flames rank No. 13 in scoring defense (18.67 point per game), posting two shutouts and holding three opponents without a touchdown.
2007 (Jr.): For the second-straight year, he made an appearance in all 11 games, starting one contest against Elon … ranked No. 18 on the team with 17 total tackles … tied for third on the squad with three pass break-ups … one of four players to recorded multiple interceptions, finishing the season with two interceptions which he returned for 16 yards each … also added a sack and an assisted tackle for a loss … opened the season by recording three tackles, an assisted tackle for a loss and an interception against Tusculum … a solo and an assisted stop against Elon … a solo takedown and three pass break-ups against St. Francis, Pa. … an assisted stop and a 16-yard interception return at Charleston Southern … tallied a career-best six unassisted tackles against VMI.
2006 (So.): Saw action in all 11 games … got his first career start against No. 22 Coastal Carolina … finished the year with 11 tackles … four solo and seven assisted stops … also added 2.5 tackles for a loss (11 yards) … recorded his first career sack against Coastal Carolina for nine yards … also added a quarterback hurry during the year.
2005 (Fr.): Saw limited playing time, as he only made one appearance on the year at Connecticut … finished the game against the Huskies with three assisted tackles … sat out the remainder of the year with an injury …joined Liberty as a PG from Hargrave Military in 2004 at mid year.
Prep: Graduated from Liberty High School … two-year letterwinner … first-team all-district and second-team all-region honoree as a junior … second-team all-state, all-district and all-region selection as a senior.
