Liberty senior guard Kyle Ohman was recently named to FOXSports.com senior writer Jeff Goodman’s top 50 shooters list. The listing included 50 of the nation’s best shooters in NCAA Division I basketball. The Mechanicsburg, Pa. native landed inside the top 20 at No. 19, besting shooters such as Oklahoma’s Wille Warren (No. 25), Duke’s Jon Scheyer (No. 34) and Virginia Tech’s Malcolm Delaney (No. 35).

Last season, Ohman posted career numbers behind the three-point line, hitting 100 of 241 shots from downtown. The senior’s long-range accuracy ranked him No. 5 in program history and No. 26 in the nation in three-point efficiency at 41.5 percent. Ohman’s 100 treys in 2008-09 are the second highest season total in school history.

Following closely behind Ohman at No. 22 was fellow Big South sharpshooter Austin Kenon of VMI. Gardner-Webb’s Grayson Flittner was the third and final BSC player to crack the top 50, coming in at No. 41.

Ohman will begin testing his shooting skills this season on Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m., as the Flames travel to Fairfax, Va., to take on George Mason inside the Patriot Center. The following night, the Flames return to the Vines Center, hosting Southern Virginia at 7 p.m.
