Watch the video of Seth Curry on the ESPN2 show "First Take."
December 10, 2008
Lynchburg, Va.

Liberty freshman guard Seth Curry was featured Wednesday morning, in a television segment on the sports show “First Take”, on ESPN2.

“First Take”, formally known as “Cold Pizza,” prior to a May 2007 name change, is a morning sports talk program on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD. Two back-to-back two-hour episodes air each weekday from Monday through Friday, with the live episode airing from 10 a.m. until noon Eastern Standard Time, followed by a repeat.

The show is hosted by former SportsCenter personality Dana Jacobson and Jay Crawford, both of whom came over from “Cold Pizza”. Skip Bayless and a rotating guest analyst are featured during the “1st and 10” segments with hosts Crawford and Jacobson.

Curry was interviewed by Crawford during his segment. Curry currently leads all freshmen in the nation in scoring at 21.4 ppg, and has won weekly player of the week awards in two out of the three weeks Liberty has played. Curry was named Choice Hotels Big South Player of the Week and Dick Vitale’s “Diaper Dandy” of the Week on Dec. 1 and then was named New Balance Big South Freshman of the Week on Monday.

Liberty Athletics and LibertyFlames.com would like to thank ABC 13 WSET for their assistance with the Curry interview on “First Take.”

The Flames return to action next Monday, when the Trojans of Anderson University invade the Vines Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m., and the game will be televised on FTN.
