The Liberty Flames baseball team held its full team practice today at Worthington Stadium. The Flames faced live pitching, as head coach Jim Toman’s team had an intrasquad scrimmage.
Practice continues from now until the team leaves for its season-opener at Kennesaw State on Feb. 19, with a day off every Monday. Weather permitting, practice will be held at Worthington Stadium.

Liberty opens its 2010 campaign on Feb. 19 at Kennesaw State. The contest will be the first of three games between the Owls and Flames to begin the year. Liberty will host its first home contest at Worthington Stadium on March 2 against VCU. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
