Nick Pierce of LibertyFlames.com recently caught up with 2009 Liberty graduate Megan Frazee, after concluding her first season with the WNBA’s San Antonio Silver Stars.

Frazee averaged 5.0 ppg and 2.9 rpg in 29 appearances as a WNBA rookie. She ranked 12th in the league, posting 10.3 rebounds per 40 minutes. Frazee’s efforts helped the Silver Stars reach the WNBA Playoffs, where they fell 2-1 to Phoenix in the Western Conference semifinals.

After a short break, Frazee has now reported to a new team, Cankaya of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TBBL). Her first season of overseas professional basketball will begin later this month.

Frazee is updating a blog frequently, describing her experiences in Turkey. Click here to check out her blog.
