"He has achieved success at every stop in his career and brings a great deal of passion to our program. Brian and his family will be a welcomed addition to Liberty Basketball."
Last season, Joyce helped lead the Cougars to one of their best seasons in the last ten years. The Cougars finished 25-7 with the best record in Region IX. Joyce finished his playing career at Oklahoma Christian and was an all-conference selection as a senior. His success continued as a coach. Joyce was an assistant coach at the Central Oklahoma (UCO), helping the Bronchos win the Lone Star Conference championship, qualify for the national tournament and finished the season ranked No. 4 in the country with 24-5 overall record during his tenure. From UCO, Joyce went on to be the assistant men's basketball coach/sports information director at Colby Community College, which competes in the nationally renowned Jayhawk Conference.
